Homeland security and disaster management consultant IEM has been awarded a position on the US Army’s $37bn responsive strategic sourcing for services (RS3) contract.
The multiple award indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract has been awarded by the US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG).
The contract has a five-year base and a five-year optional ordering period.
Under the award, IEM will compete for individual task orders along with other awardees.
Other companies that won positions on the contract include IAP Worldwide Services, Decisive Analytics, General Dynamics Global Force, BAE Systems Technology, AASKI Technology, SRI International, Banc 3, BRTRC Federal Solutions and NCI Information Systems.
Task orders will cover various national security services such as research, development, logistics, engineering, testing, acquisition, strategic planning, and training.

IEM will provide knowledge-based professional engineering services for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) missions.
Additionally, the company will provide support to the programmes conducted by US Department of Defence agencies, Program Executive Offices and other federal agencies.
Work under the agreement is expected to be completed by 14 May 2022.
