Lockheed Martin Corporation has received a $33.49m contract for the supply of M299 Hellfire legacy launchers to the US Army.
The contractor will produce a total of 331 M299 Hellfire and up to 32 launcher electronic assemblies at its facility in Orlando, Florida, US, by December 2020.
Rockwell Collins has agreed to provide support for avionics of the Fennec and Panther multi-purpose helicopters operated by the Brazilian Army under a three-year contract.
The company will service MFD-255EF multi-function displays, Talon RT-8200 digital radios and HF-9087D high-frequency (HF) receiver and transmitters installed on the helicopters.
Leonardo has secured a contract to provide an integrated defensive aids suite (DAS) to improve protection capabilities of the British Army’s Apache AH-64E multi-role combat helicopters.
Awarded by the UK Ministry of Defence, the contract will involve the integration of different sensors and countermeasures into the AH-64E helicopters to identify and defeat a range of threats, including anti-tank and infrared guided missiles.
