Cubic Global Defense has secured a new contract to continue delivering analytical support services to the US European Command’s (EUCOM) joint training and exercise division.

Under the deal, Cubic will be responsible for managing, developing and providing training and exercise services for EUCOM’s Joint Exercise Programme (JEP) and components’ Title X exercises.

In addition, the company will conduct exercises to offer training for joint or combined operational effect and support strategic collaborations. It will also develop partner capacity, capabilities and interoperability.

“Last year, personnel from the company developed and performed exercise planning and assessment activities to promote the northern and southern exercise campaigns.”

Cubic Global Defense president Dave Buss said: “Cubic’s broad range of experience in providing joint exercise and training capabilities and supporting joint initiatives worldwide positions us well to effectively support the EUCOM evolution to an operational command.

“This support is consistent with our NextTraining strategy. We are pleased to continue our partnership with EUCOM to better develop and sustain readiness.”

Last year, personnel from the company developed and performed exercise planning and assessment activities to promote the northern and southern exercise campaigns.

The company also established EUCOM lessons learned programme and resolution process, in addition to providing support for the standardisation of all EUCOM J7 procedures.

Over the last 15 years, the company has delivered contract support to EUCOM, including three years of direct support provided by the company for the current JEP.
