CACI International has been contracted to provide research and development (R&D) support to the US Army’s Systems Engineering, Architecture, Modelling and Simulations (SEAMS) Division.
The SEAMS Division reports to the US Army’s Combat Capabilities Development Command’s (CCDC) command, control, computers, communications, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR) centre.
Under the five-year, single-award task order, CACI’s R&D support will focus on systems engineering, networking, data collection and analysis.
In addition, the company will perform experimentation, modelling and simulation for those organisations’ labs and facilities.
Awarded under the Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) contract vehicle, the task order carries a ceiling value of $112m.
In order to meet the technical service needs of the SEAMS Division, the company will offer timely and efficient support services along with mission expertise and technology.

Recently, CACI won a task order to support the Cyber Security and Information Assurance division of S&TCD.
Under the five-year, single-award $465m task order, the company will provide R&D on cryptographic modernisation, information security and tactical network protection.
