BAE Systems has partnered with Elbit Systems of America to develop advanced operational technologies for combat vehicles.
The teaming focuses on validation and integration of new technologies on combat vehicles while enhancing their capabilities.

The two companies will explore automation of crew, vehicle protection systems, and related defensive and offensive systems.
BAE Systems business development director Jim Miller said: “BAE Systems and Elbit America are investing in transformational combat vehicle technologies and turret solutions that will greatly enhance the lethality and survivability of next-generation combat vehicles for the US and international militaries.
“Our relationship demonstrates a commitment to provide our customers with solutions for future battlefields based on our collective combat vehicle expertise.”
Earlier this week, BAE Systems proposed its fully automated Archer howitzer for the US Army as the latter plans to induct a 155mm wheeled gun system to meet future requirements.
Earlier this month, Elbit Systems of America won a five-year contract to produce spare parts for Aviators’ Night Vision Imaging System Head-Up Display system (ANVIS HUD) of the US Army.
