AECOM has secured a new $442m contract to deliver rotary wing flight training instructor support services to the US Army at Fort Rucker in Alabama.
The nine-year, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract has been awarded by the army’s Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, US.

Expected to be completed by 30 September 2026, the new award covers a base period of 12 months with additional option years.
Under the deal, AECOM will continue to deliver all personnel, supervision and other services required to carry out ongoing services for rotary wing flight training, flight training support and flight training service support.
AECOM chairman and chief executive officer Michael S Burke said: “We are honoured to strengthen our relationship with the US Army by continuing to serve as its primary partner for rotary wing flight training.

AECOM is a US-based engineering company that provides classroom academic teaching and hands-on flight training.
The company uses a number of helicopters and flight simulation devices to instruct each US Army pilot during their initial entry rotary wing training.
