The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 3.1% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
Out of the aerospace, defence & security industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 12.46% share in October 2022, recording a decrease of 1.72% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Singapore’s aerospace, defence & security industry in October 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 50% in October 2022, registering a 50% decline over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 20% share, an increase of 100% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 10%, registering a flat growth from September 2022.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 10%, down 80% over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Singapore’s aerospace, defence & security industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
Thales posted 9 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a drop of 30.77% over the previous month, followed by Boeing with 1 job and a flat growth. .
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70%, down by 36.36% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 30% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
