Poland’s aerospace, defence & security industry registered an 8.5% drop in IT hiring activity in December 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 4.44% in December 2021 when compared with November 2021.

Out of the aerospace, defence & security industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 39.58% share in December 2021, recording a decrease of 1.65% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s aerospace, defence & security industry’s IT recruitment activity in December 2021

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s aerospace, defence & security industry in December 2021.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 76% in December 2021, registering a 70.31% decline over the previous month.

2) Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a 12% share, a flat growth over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 8%, registering a 33.33% decline from November 2021.

4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 4%, down 88.89% over the previous month.

Top five aerospace, defence & security companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in December 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s aerospace, defence & security industry during December 2021 over November 2021.

The Boeing posted 24 IT jobs in December 2021 and registered a drop of 68% over the previous month, followed by Woodward with 1 job and a flat growth. .

Entry Level job postings dominate in December 2021

Entry Level jobs held a share of 48%, down by 62.5% from November 2021. Junior Level positions with a 44% share, registered a decline of 70.27% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 8% share, down 75% over November 2021.
