The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 40.38% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the aerospace, defence & security industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 9.9% share in November 2022, recording an increase of 1.27% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany’s aerospace, defence & security industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 99.22% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s aerospace, defence & security industry in November 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 50.39% in November 2022, registering a 48.82% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 23.26% share, a decrease of 49.15% over the previous month.
3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 10.08%, registering a 56.67% decline from October 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 10.08%, down 13.33% over the previous month.
Top five aerospace, defence & security companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 54.63% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s aerospace, defence & security industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
Airbus posted 45 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a drop of 15.09% over the previous month, followed by ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH with 20 jobs and a 75.31% drop. Rheinmetall with 15 IT jobs and MTU Aero Engines with 14 jobs, recorded a 77.94% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Huntington Ingalls Industries recorded a decline of 18.18% with 9 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 52.71%, down by 57.76% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 35.66% share, registered a decline of 37.84% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 10.85% share, down 50% over October 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.78%, recording a month-on-month decline of 66.67%.
