The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 17.29% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the aerospace, defence & security industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.45% share in November 2022, recording a flat growth over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in France’s aerospace, defence & security industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.88% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s aerospace, defence & security industry in November 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 52.81% in November 2022, registering a 62.4% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 32.58% share, a decrease of 50% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 5.62%, registering a 68.75% decline from October 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 5.62%, down 58.33% over the previous month.
Top five aerospace, defence & security companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 55.5% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s aerospace, defence & security industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
Thales posted 45 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a drop of 61.54% over the previous month, followed by Airbus with 29 jobs and a 21.62% drop. Safran with 11 IT jobs and Leidos Holdings with 3 jobs, recorded a 52.17% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Groupe Industriel Marcel Dassault recorded a decline of 95.65% with 1 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.03%, down by 60.37% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 13.48% share, registered a decline of 52% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.48% share, down 64.71% over October 2022.
