The industry’s overall hiring increased by 1.48% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.

Top five apparel companies in Australia’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 32.88% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Australia’s apparel industry during November 2021 over October 2021.
Wesfarmers posted 59 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a rise of 136% over the previous month, followed by Woolworths Group with 51 jobs and a 50% growth. Amazon with 49 IT jobs and Global Fashion Group with 24 jobs, recorded a 28.99% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Coles Group recorded a decline of 38.89% with 11 job postings during November 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 76.59%, up by 53.92% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 15.12% share, registered a decline of 22.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.29% share, up 54.55% over October 2021.
