The US Army has awarded a prime task order to technology and management solutions provider DCS Corporation for the delivery of survivability and protection support services to the army’s ground vehicle fleet.
Under the five-year order, the company will provide technical and programmatic support to the US Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) ground vehicle survivability and protection (GVSP) directorate.
Through the deal, DCS will be committed to provide the army with research and development, design, prototyping, testing and integration support for ground vehicle systems, subsystems and technologies.
DCS chief executive officer Jim Benbow said: “DCS looks forward to expanding its long-term relationship with TARDEC and GVSP with this important win.
“We are excited for the opportunity to continue working side by side with our customer to develop and optimise technologies critical to ground vehicle survivability and warfighter safety.”
The current award combines several contracts into a single task order under the Tank-automotive and Armaments Command Strategic Services Solutions (TS3) Research and Development contract.
