US-based DLT Solutions has secured an enterprise software initiative (ESI) blanket purchase agreement (BPA) for the delivery of its ForeScout products to the US Department of Defense (DoD).

Under the deal, DLT will provide its ForeScout software and services to help secure data from traditional and internet of things (IoT)-connected devices, and boost automated incident responses to security breaches.

DLT Solutions president Brian Strosser said: “The growth of IoT and hybrid network environments provides many opportunities for the DoD, but also more complexity and potential vulnerabilities.

“By leveraging ForeScout, DoD information technology professionals can focus on the mission at hand rather than worrying about the security of their networks.”

“By leveraging ForeScout, DoD information technology professionals can focus on the mission at hand rather than worrying about the security of their networks and the devices connected to them.”

As part of the agreement, DoD customers will be able to acquire ForeScout software and services from the technology provider at a significant discount.

This deal adds to the existing portfolio of ESI BPAs held by DLT Solutions that help federal agencies streamline the procurement process for mission-critical products.

The current contract has a three-year base period with two one-year options.

ForeScout products that would be available through the deal include CounterACT, CounterACT Enterprise Manager, Extended Modules and ControlFabric Architecture.
