Northrop Grumman says it will lead a team to compete for the US army’s Aerial Common Sensor (ACS), an airborne platform that will provide personnel with reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition capability.
ACS will be a unique next-generation intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and target acquisition aircraft, able to detect troop movements and intercept communications and radar transmission.
The team includes AAI Corporation, General Dynamics C4 Systems and L-3 Communications.
