General Dynamics has become the first supplier in to provide a 12.7mm NATO-qualified cartridge.
The firm says its C162 Ball and C163 Tracer cartridges have been approved for NATO interoperability, allowing NATO troops to interchange ammunition with allied countries.
General Dynamics says the design meets the 12.7mm NATO Standardisation Agreement (STANAG) requirements, ensuring full interchangeability between all NATO troops using NATO-qualified weapons.
