Production Occupations drive aerospace, defence and security industry hiring activity
Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Production Occupations, which accounted for 27% of the total new job postings in Q3 2023 and were down by 32% year-on-year. Second highest were Architecture and Engineering Occupations, which accounted for 17% and drop by 70% year-on-year, and third highest were Computer and Mathematical Occupations, which were 38% of the new job postings and 26% lower year-on-year.
Top five companies in aerospace, defence and security industry accounted for 88% of hiring activity
The highest number of jobs were posted by RTX with 46, followed by Chromalloy Gas Turbine with 31, while the highest increase was at Thales at 33%.
