The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 5.67% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the aerospace, defence & security industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 10.98% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 0.45% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 55.56% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada’s aerospace, defence & security industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
Lockheed Martin posted 13 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 116.67% over the previous month, followed by CAE with 10 jobs and a 25% growth. Boeing with 9 IT jobs and Thales with 6 jobs, recorded a 12.5% growth and a 200% growth, respectively, while Calian Advanced Technologies recorded an increase of 33.33% with 4 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.14%, up by 3.23% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 30.36% share, registered an increase of 6.25% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.5% share, down 46.15% over October 2022.
