ITT Corporation has received two contracts worth $800m from the US Army Corps of Engineers to support Afghanistan National Security Forces (ANSF).
Under the two independent contracts, ITT will provide operations, maintenance and training services for the ANSF.
The first contract, which is worth $450m, is for Northern Afghanistan and the second contract, valued at $350m, is for Southern Afghanistan forces.
Each contract has a one-year base period with options for four additional years.
ITT Systems president and general manager Michael Gulino said robust support capability will be provided for security operations, training and developing ANSF personnel for future critical support missions in Afghanistan.
Work will be carried out at the company’s facilities in the US.
