General Dynamics has been awarded a task order to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).

Under the $61.8m contract, GD will provide sustaining, uninterrupted IT operations and maintenance support to INSCOM to create and share critical intelligence products to army users worldwide.

The company will provide information assurance services to secure networks, systems and data from potential threats.

Tiered-level support will also be provided by the company to ensure users receive specialised assistance to receive rapid resolution of issues and concerns.

INSCOM, the army’s operational intelligence force, is a global command with major subordinate commands and ensures multidiscipline intelligence support to theatre / component warfighters, the intelligence community and other national agencies.

Work will be carried out at the headquarters in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and other facilities in US.
