The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 2.46% in December 2021 when compared with November 2021.
Out of the aerospace, defence & security industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 18.27% share in December 2021, recording an increase of 0.55% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany’s aerospace, defence & security industry’s IT recruitment activity in December 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 102.41% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s aerospace, defence & security industry in December 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 69.88% in December 2021, registering an 11.54% flat growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 10.84% share, a decrease of 10% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 9.64%, registering a 71.43% decline from November 2021.
4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 9.64%, up 700% over the previous month.
Top five aerospace, defence & security companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in December 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 4.88% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s aerospace, defence & security industry during December 2021 over November 2021.
Rohde & Schwarz GmbHKG posted 38 IT jobs in December 2021 and registered a rise of 31.03% over the previous month, followed by Hensoldt Holding Germany with 15 jobs and a 25% growth. MTU Aero Engines with 13 IT jobs and Thales with 10 jobs, recorded an 116.67% flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while The Boeing recorded a decline of 92% with 2 job postings during December 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in December 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.27%, up by 3.77% from November 2021. Mid Level positions with a 16.87% share, registered a decline of 44% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 16.87% share, flat growth over November 2021.
