Russia and the US will conduct joint nuclear security drills, codenamed Crimson Rider, at the Camp Guernsey base in Wyoming, US, next month, the US Department of State has said.
The Crimson Rider exercise will focus on training related to counterterrorism measures, and will include safe delivery of nuclear warheads.
During the drills, Russian and US servicemen will learn how to prevent proliferation of self-made explosive devices.
The servicemen will also exchange tactical and technical experience in providing security for nuclear materials.
The nuclear drills are part of the bilateral military cooperation committee agreement between the two nations, according to RIA Novosti.
