Poland’s apparel industry registered a 2.0% drop in IT hiring activity in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 4.35% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.

Out of the apparel industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 23.22% share in October 2021, recording a decrease of 0.18% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s apparel industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s apparel industry in October 2021.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 73.08% in October 2021, registering a 13.64% decline over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 13.46% share, an increase of 75% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 5.77%, registering a flat growth from September 2021.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 5.77%, down 40% over the previous month.

Top five apparel companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 7.27% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s apparel industry during October 2021 over September 2021.

Amazon posted 25 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a rise of 31.58% over the previous month, followed by LPP with 17 jobs and a 50% drop. NIKE with 6 IT jobs and Alimentation Couche-Tard with 2 jobs, recorded a 500% flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Zalando recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during October 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 92.31%, up by 4.35% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 3.85% share, registered an increase of 100% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 3.85% share, down 80% over September 2021.
