Raytheon Missiles Systems has been awarded a firm-fixed-price cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the procurement of Griffin stand-off precision-guided munitions by the US Army.
The $11.5m contract will also include associated engineering services support for the precision-guided munitions.
A precision-guided munition is capable of accurately hitting a specific target, causing minimum damage to things other than the target.
Work location is yet to be determined, however, the estimated date of completion is 30 September 2012.
The US Army Contracting Command in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, US will be the contracting activity.
