US-based company Raytheon Technologies IT hiring rose 6.2% in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 0.36% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 22.19% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 1.04% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Raytheon Technologies IT hiring in September 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Raytheon Technologies, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 52.67% in September 2021, and a 22.68% drop over August 2021, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 25.42% in September 2021, and registered growth of 3.47%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 12.84% in September 2021, a 31.41% drop from August 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at Raytheon Technologies

North America emerged as the leading region in the global aerospace, defence & security IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 92.23% share, which marked a 19.32% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 5.12%, registering a 10.24% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 2.6% share and a 24.68% drop over August 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.04% and a month-on-month decline of 66.67%.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s aerospace, defence & security industry IT hiring activity with a 91.11% share in September 2021, an 18.9% decline over August 2021. India featured next with a 2.69% share, up 15.38% over the previous month. Australia recorded a 1.84% share, an increase of 141.18% compared with August 2021.

Mid Level jobs lead Raytheon Technologies IT hiring activity in September 2021

Mid Level jobs held a share of 49.08%, down by 26.69% from August 2021. Junior Level positions with a 27.66% share, a decline of 27.78% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 22.86% share, up 29.52% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.4%, recording a month-on-month decline of 43.75%.
