US-based company Cubic has restructured its defence business segments in a bid to improve operational effectiveness.
As part of the consolidation, the company formed a new Cubic Mission and Performance Solutions (CMPS) segment by combining Cubic Mission Solutions (CMS) and Cubic Global Defense (CGD).
The new segment will focus on delivering technologies and solutions for training and in the field of Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR).
The realignment is effective immediately.
With the move, Cubic seeks to reduce operational complexities and associated costs. The amalgamation of two defence business segments will also help in improving collaboration, organisation efficiency and expedite the use of common talent and technologies.
Cubic chairman, president and CEO Bradley H. Feldmann said: “Cubic’s unwavering commitment to Winning the Customer requires us to continually evaluate our business structure and organise our talent and resources in a manner that best serves our customers.
