US engineering firm KBR has secured a $165m task order for a project within the US Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space.
Under the contract, KBR will provide engineering services on tactical missile systems for the Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office.

The cost-plus, fixed-fee task order was awarded under the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center’s (DoD IAC) multiple-award contract.
The contract builds upon KBR’s engineering services provided under a previous agreement.
Under the latest contract, KBR will be responsible for the research, development, testing, evaluation and integration of tactical rocket and missile systems, ancillary launchers and test sets.
The engineering support services will be for the TAGM Project Office portfolio of weapon systems, which include the HELLFIRE missile, the Joint Air-to-Ground Missile System and other guided missiles.

The services are expected to improve the US’ capability to produce more missile systems. It will also help in reducing production issues and integrating weapons systems onto air, ground, and sea platforms.
The contract works will be carried out over the next five years at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama, US.
