L3Harris Technologies has been contracted by the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) for the supply of WESCAM MX-Series products and services.
The technologies and solutions being procured will support the US Army’s surveillance and targeting operations worldwide.
Valued at $380m, the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract has a performance period of eight years.
The contract will allow delivery of upgrades and support to the US Army’s fixed-wing, aerostat and unmanned platforms.
In addition, this will support the expansion of the foreign military sales (FMS) requirements.
WESCAM MX-Series systems have been used by the US Army in several combat operations, including current intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions worldwide. They have logged in more than four million hours.

Currently, WESCAM MX systems are also in service with the US Navy and US Air Force Special Operations Command.
In the last two decades, L3Harris’ WESCAM MX-Series products have supported US Army aviation programmes.

In May this year, L3Harris delivered 656 combat-ready Enhanced Night Vision Goggle – Binocular (ENVG-B) systems to the US Army as part of a contract.
