By GlobalDataJacobs aerospace, technology and nuclear senior vice-president Jennifer Richmond said: “Jacobs has a long history of supporting the US Army, ranging from research and development to test and evaluation, sustainment, and support of complex weapons systems, and now to expanding our support to training and military intelligence education.
“This award constitutes another successful milestone in our strategy to grow our portfolio of solutions to the US Army and US Intelligence Community as we grow our community engagement at Fort Huachuca, which when combined with other recent contract awards supporting the Army’s Electronic Proving Ground and the Joint Interoperability Test Center, creates a significant Jacobs presence in the Sierra Vista area and provides synergy for our customers.”
The Electronic Proving Ground is the development tester for the US Army’s Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and intelligence (C5I) system. It was established in 1954.
Meanwhile, the Joint Interoperability Test Center provides risk-based services and tools for joint warfighting IT capabilities to ensure they are interoperable and that they support the needs of the mission.
The majority of the work under the contract will be carried out at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, and is estimated to complete on 14 March 2026.
Additional work will be performed at Davis–Monthan Air Force Base (AFB) in Tucson, Arizona, Naval Station in Pensacola, Florida and Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, Texas.
