DynCorp International (DI) has been selected to compete for the US Army Intelligence and Security Command’s (INSCOM) global intelligence support services (GISS) contract.
The company is among the unrestricted competition pool of prime contractors chosen to bid for task orders under a full and open competition.
DynCorp International president Chris Bernhardt said: "We are excited to be able to expand our intelligence support services, one of our core competencies."
Valued at $7.2bn, the GISS contract is designed to acquire flexible, comprehensive and cost-effective services to support the army’s requirement for fully integrated intelligence, security and information operations and related support.
In particular, the contract will provide support services for army intelligence missions, including intelligence analysis, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems, security systems, electronic systems, quick reaction capability systems and prototype intelligence software / hardware suites, as well as high-readiness facilities and business functions.
The indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract has been divided into an unrestricted competition pool of 11 companies and a restricted competition pool, which is a partial, small business set aside with ten companies.

Companies selected for the restricted competition award include Absolute Business, Archimedes Global, Calhoun International, Circinus, Charles F. Day & Associates, E&M Technologies, Integral Consulting Services, K-3 Enterprises, Pluribus International and the Buffalo Group.
Work under the contract is scheduled to be completed by September 2019.
