The US Army’s Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) has contracted CACI International to continue supporting the Trojan Spirit programme for a period of three years.
According to CACI, the $81m contract represents continued business for the company in the intelligence systems and support market.
Under the agreement, CACI will provide integration, fielding, training and logistics services for the deployment and maintenance of Trojan Spirit terminals across the world.
CACI president and CEO Ken Asbury said: “With our ongoing support for the US Army’s Trojan Spirit Programme, CACI continues to strengthen our Intelligence Systems and Support business.
“This critically important contract also enables us to continue to support some of our nation’s highest priorities in maintaining information superiority for America’s military, and ensuring the safety of US forces on the battlefield.”
The Trojan Spirit programme aims to improve the broadcasting of secure, mission-critical information to commanders on the battlefield.

In November, CACI secured a I2WD contract to support the Trojan NexGEN family of intelligence systems.
The company was also contracted to support the I2WD’s fabrication, integration, and fielding facility (FIFF) requirements
I2WD is the army’s research and development centre for advanced cyber operations, electronic warfare, dissemination capabilities, signals intelligence technologies, radar, and intelligence analysis.
