MCR Global has received a contract to provide key programme management and technical support services to Nato's Supreme Allied Command Transformation (ACT) and Allied Command Operations (ACO).
The $8.1m contract has a two-year base period and a two-year option.
Under the contract, MCR will provide programme management for Nato’s automated information and general purpose communications systems at ACT Headquarters in Norfolk, Virginia, US, and ACO Headquarters in Mons, Belgium.
MCR Global president Paul R. Marston said: “MCR is extremely proud of our work supporting NATO’s vital missions. For more than two decades, MCR has provided our unique programme management, technical analysis, and enterprise transformation expertise to NATO agencies.
“We are delighted to expand that support to NATO’s two strategic commands and look forward to assisting the alliance in delivering the next generation of AIS to our forces on-time, within cost, and with the promised capability.”
The ACT and ACO are jointly working to develop, manage, and field a portfolio of projects under its Bi-Strategic Commands Automated Information System (BI-SC AIS) programme.
