FELDAUTOKLAV TACTICAL STERILIZERS

The FELDAUTOKLAV project was initiated in the early 1980’s when FEDEGARI’s field autoclave prototype beat a dozen competitors and was awarded the first supply contract of these systems by the former West German Army. This marked the start of a technical collaboration between Fedegari and the German Army which facilitated the design and development of a field sterilizer which was absolutely unique in terms of performance and reliability.

By developing custom solutions for demanding industrial applications, testing new components and continuously improving designs based on the users’ feedback, Fedegari has been able to build the latest version of the only sterilizer truly engineered for mobile field hospitals, capable of surviving harsh demands in times of both war and peace. Fedegari currently supply sterilisation systems to NATO forces for use in most of today’s theatres of war.

FELDAUTOKLAV H2000L AUTOMATIC COMPACT STEAM STERILIZER

The FELDAUTOKLAV H2000L is a fully automatic compact steam steriliser for field hospital applications. These sterilizers are rugged enough to survive in the most extreme and hostile of environments and still provide reliable sterilization performance.

The FELDAUTOKLAV H2000L is managed by a dedicated process controller, which has been especially designed for working under extreme environmental conditions. The model H2000L complies with the different applicable international standards for hospital sterilizers and will deploy easily and rapidly inside a tent or mobile shelter, or on-board of a warship.

The H2000L only needs electric power and a canister of water to operate, and can be set up to start the sterilization process within the space of a few minutes. The H2000L is also designed to totally or partially recycle the water it uses, making it a particularly invaluable asset in environments where useable water is scarce, such as in a desert or on a ship at sea.

H2000L is available as a double-door pass-through version for mobile laboratories and a special bio-decontamination process, making it the ideal solution for extreme sterilization applications such as humanitarian relief operations.

TACTICAL SHIPPING CONTAINERS

For the purpose of storage and field transportation with any carrier and under any weather condition is available a plastic container capable of protecting the sterilizer.

Fedegari supply a complete range of durable containers for all of their sterilization systems. Fedegari containers are made of two half-shells of rotational moulded polyethylene low-flammability (Mil-Std 648 burn test), fitted with internal foam liners for added protection. Fedegari’s tactical containers are also water-tight, dustproof, chemical resistant and shockproof.

The containers can also be used as work benches for sterilization equipment - the lower shell containing the sterilizer is positioned on top of the upper shell, which is equipped with leveling feet for stability. This solution also avoids the need to store the empty container whilst machine is in operations.
