DDC's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is reflected in their registration by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) as an ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100:2004-1 compliant company, and by their MIL-PRF-38534 Class H and K certification through Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC). 1553 and 429 data bus products DDC's broad line of component, board, software, and IP products support many 1553 and 429 data bus applications. MIL-STD-1553 terminal and transceiver components are available in hermetically sealed ceramic or innovative high-performance miniature plastic packages. Data bus board products are available for both flight worthy embedded applications and laboratory test applications in PCI, PCMCIA, USB, PMC, cPCI, PC/104, PC/104 Plus, and VME form factors. Both board and component products are supported by software libraries, applications programs and drivers for Windows® 9x/2000/XP, Windows® NT®, Linux®, VxWorks®, and Integrity® operating systems. Fiber channel and gigabit Ethernet interface cards DDC's line of high-speed fiber channel products support the real-time processing demands of field-critical data networking between sensors, computer nodes, data storage, displays, and weapons, for air, sea, and ground military vehicles. Ruggedness options include a choice of air and conduction cooling, enabling operation over extended temperature ranges without the need for upscreening. DDC's GigEXTREME Ethernet cards are optimized for use in embedded avionics and vetronic systems, and feature a TCP / IP off-load engine (TOE) that implements the full TCP / IP protocol stack, thus freeing up valuable host processor bandwidth. Cards are available with either electrical or optical interfaces on a conduction cooled PMC form factor. Synchro / resolver converters DDC is a world leader in synchro / resolver cards, offering a complete line including angle-position indicators, simulators, combo cards, and software to meet today's COTS / MOTS requirements. Form factors include cPCI, PCI, PMC, PC/104, ISA, VME and VXI cards with software support for Windows® 95/98/2000, Windows NT®, Windows XP®, Linux®, LabView® and VxWorks® operating systems. Moreover, DDC is a leading supplier of synchro / resolver conversion components – the smallest, most accurate converters available. To complete the line there are reference oscillators, synchro boosters, and special function LVDT-to-digital converters. Solid-state power controllers As a major supplier of military qualified, high-reliability solid-state power controllers (SSPCs), DDC was the first to offer commercial and fully qualified MIL-PRF-38534 and Class K space-level screening for these products. SSPCs replace traditional electromechanical relays and circuit breakers in power distribution systems, offering more accurate trip protection with solid-state reliability. DDC's SSPCs support real-time digital status reporting and computer control, and are equipped with instant trip, and true I²T wire protection. This technology is incorporated into multi-channel boards to achieve the lowest possible cost per channel. Hybrid motor drives and controllers DDC offers motor drive and controller solutions for brush, three-phase brushless, and induction motors that operate from 28VDC to 270VDC, and are capable of powering up to 64kW loads. DDC's defense and aerospace industry programs Today, DDC products actively contribute to the success of many defense and aerospace industry programs. Military programs include the F-16, F/A-18, Tornado, F-22, C-17, C-130, F-15, F-35, KC-135, E-2C, A-10 Warthog, AH-64 Apache Longbow, Eurofighter Typhoon, Rafale, M1A1, M1A2 Abrams, M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle, UH-60 Black Hawk, CH-47 Chinook, V-22 and Stryker.  Our field-proven RP-26000 solid-state power controller can control 16 electrical loads and is at the heart of modern power management and distribution systems for manned and unmanned ground vehicles.  The RP-22000 STAR series of 28VDC solid-state power controllers (SSPCs) provides circuit protection and remote power control for power distribution systems.  Resolver-to-digital converters: the RD-19230FX features 16-bit resolution, 1.3 arc minutes of accuracy, and a temperature range of –40°C to +85°C; the RD-19240FS has14-bit resolution and an extended temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.  Our portable 1553 BC/RT/MT avionics devices feature compact interface solutions for use in laboratory, test, and flightline environments.
